Cecilia Butler is a producer for documentary and brand content.

She recently produced You Need This (executive produced by Adam McKay), which premiered at CPH:DOX in 2025. Her credits also include serving as associate producer on Notes from the USA, an eight-part travel series broadcast across Europe on EuroNews, and Where The Rope Ends, a feature-length adventure documentary set to premiere on PBS in 2026.

She has worked for production companies such as The Documentary Group, Zero Point Zero, RadicalMedia, Hôtel Motion Pictures, Scenery, and Wall to Wall Media.

She worked as a researcher for HBO's Wild Wild Space, and National Geographic’s, DNA Doe. 

In the branded space, Cecilia has produced standout projects such as GitHub’s Coding Accessibility series, which was featured on SXSW’s technology panel, Cash App’s Exchanges series, and Purina’s Everyday Adventures campaign. She has also led post-production teams on animated content for brands like Atlassian and Cisco. Additionally, she has worked with branded clients such as Amazon, Condé Nast, eBay, Brand USA, BetMGM, Masonite, and Twitch.

She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
