Cecilia Butler is a producer for documentary and brand content.

She has worked for production companies such as The Documentary Group, Zero Point Zero, RadicalMedia, Hôtel Motion Pictures, Scenery, and Wall to Wall Media.

She was a producer on You Need This, a feature documentary directed by Ryan Andrej Lough and produced by Adam McKay, set to premiere in Fall 2025. She worked as an associate producer for Notes from the USA, a seven-part travel series that aired on EuroNews, and Where The Rope Ends, a feature-length adventure documentary that premiered at SIFF.

Cecilia produced branded projects such as GitHub’s Coding Accessibility series, which premiered at SXSW, Cash App’s Exchanges series, and Purina’s Everyday Adventure’s spot. Additionally, she has led post-production teams for animated videos for brands such as Amazon, Atlassian, Cisco, and United Airlines.

Cecilia worked as a researcher for HBO’s Wild Wild Space and National Geographic’s DNA Doe.

She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
